Central Park

After my concert tonight, I decided to take an extra long walk to leave Central Park and remembered why I loved to walk through it so often during my high school years. I walked through the popular fountain and over the bridge that has been the backdrop for so many movie scenes. But I got kind of lost and just when I was frustrated I turned around and saw one of the most beautiful scenes. The lights of Central Park South & West converged to reflect on the pond and it was just breathtaking. For a moment I understood what that weird boy in American Beauty was talking about. It was just awesome. I wished I was with someone but at least I experienced it.
